Another Bad Dream
(a found poem)

Dark green boat takes you
sitting there alone,
water lapping
head lolling loose
all lit in red.

Wake up.

Another bad dream.
Write it down.

The scary ones
the awful parts,
a dark area you would never go
tall trees all around
That's how it was.
The sun dropped
a falling stone,
a wind swirling up
like swords, cutting
sharp teeth, like daggers.

Then, just ahead,
roof and walls
the fireplace
and warmth.
